I'm new to this red light therapy, so I was unsure if I should turn off the lights in my room or not, but I tried both ways and these lights are so strong that I didn't think it mattered, but having the lights off just made the room seem nicer and less weird with light coming at me from everywhere. I love this red light therapy panel. It’s a small unit, but great value for the price. The many benefits are scientifically validated so no questions about that. The convenience of this particular unit is another attribute. This is a handy device, and I like the size. I tend to get muscle knots in my shoulder blades and neck. I don't like taking pills to deal with the agonizing pain, so I figured I would try infrared to see if it helps. I've only used this device twice for 20 minutes. While it didn't completely eliminate the pain, I could feel a slight tingle in my muscle tissues, which leads me to believe that perhaps this is a device which must be used regularly, over time, to see results. Overall, I'd say that if you're interested in red light and infrared technology, try it this one from Qilife. Just don't expect instant results or miracles. The light is made with heavy frames and you can tell the led lights are good quality. The cord was a good length, but you may still need to have an extension cord based on your outlet configuration. This product seems fairly well-made, and seems to do what they say it will. Not sure if this red light therapy aspect is real or if this light will actually work for that purpose, but as of now it's what I expected in a good way. The door mount is really helpful, I can hang it on the door and can adjust the length. And also I can move it without having to unscrew it from a socket.

I hung this panel on the back of my bathroom door to use on my face. The first time I used it, I was worried about the infrared messing with implants, so I was trying to cover my chest with my hands. I've had arthritis in my knuckles and finger joints for almost 10 plus years, and after my first session, I don't know if it did anything for my face but I noticed almost immediately that my hands didn't hurt anymore!
