I would like to tell a story on tissue regeneration and wound healing protocols of my wife. My wife had a complete hysterectomy to remove the Endometrial cancer in her uterus. The incision was over 10 CM long and the doctor used tape to close the incision and after 3 weeks a section opened up about 2 cm long and 2 cm deep. The doctor said this is somewhat common and to pack the wound with Iodine strips to keep it clean and dry changing dressings twice a day.
