We purged everything that might be problematic, cleaned the refrigerator and freezer with vinegar and baking soda, and placed containers of baking soda inside. I have very sensitive smell and was still sickened every time the fridge or freezer was opened. These deodorizers worked within one day. Now I do not even notice when the fridge or freezer are opened. I have ordered more for family members, the ice-maker and chest freezer. Thanks a lot.

Stuck this deodorizer under a sink that had been leaking. Even after the leak was fixed the wood still smelled. I don't even notice the odor anymore. I know it's for a fridge but it works under cabinets as well! I will try it in the trunk of my car.

It totally worked to eliminate the musty odor of my very old coat closet. I didn't want to re-paint that closet, but I couldn't stand the smell. I tried covering up the smell with spray - no good. But this deodorizer made the smell completely go away. This is highly recommended.

This is simple and cheap way to eliminate odors. Great for your fridge. I also keep in my basement bathroom and in a room that is a little musky. This deodorizer really works and at this price you can't beat it. Highly recommend!

We purchased this deodorizer as well as other odor absorbers because our boat had been in storage due to repair and it had a really bad stale odor. These things work great. It absorbed all the 'stink' out of the refrigerator overnight. I'll order more for my fridge in the house and shoe closet. You should definitely try this product. Worth the money

Does your fridge stink? We bought a new house and with it came a fridge. The house had been a foreclosure so you can use your imagination. The fridge had bugs inside and stunk very bad. We tried baking soda, massive cleaning, nothing worked. We bought two of these deodorizer one for the fridge and one for the freezer and the smell was gone within 2 weeks! Nice product. Highly recommended!

I recently bought a used refrigerator that I found in a garage sale. Expectedly the fridge had a strong smell of vegetables and herbs. I bought this deodorizer and left it in the fridge and checked it everyday. Within a few days I noticed the smell was diminished and now it is almost completely gone. This product really works. We had an unidentifiable odor in the fridge we could not get rid of. Even took everything out and scrubbed it down with bleach. Then put multiple boxes of baking soda in freezer and fridge - nothing worked. I googled products to remove odors from fridge and found this. Read all the reviews...most of them good. Some said it worked in a couple of days. Took about 3-4 days for us, but absolutely no odor left. I ordered another one for my car.

Had a bag of fresh fish that fell over and leaked. After cleaning the fridge with warm water & simple green, the odor was still there. Cleaned out the fridge a 2nd time with white vinegar & lemon juice. Still nothing. I purchased this deodorizer & placed it at the second deck back part of the fridge. Two days later the odor was gone. Great product for a great price.

Wow it worked better than baking soda. I was skeptical but I was about to give up on my freezer ice maker all together. I washed it, replaced filter, and had the ice empty for a few months. Dealing with bottled water in the fridge took too much space. The smell once ice was filled was still there. I put this deodorizer inside and started up the ice maker once again and the smell is gone! I am so happy. No more bottled water and I can enjoy iced water from the fridge now. It works! I just bought a few more to put in my car and in the shoe closet.

I had a really foul smell in my guest bedroom......something had died between one of the walls. I spend days and tried many things to get rid of the smell. My last option was cutting into the wall to find the source. As a last resort I tried this product. I could not believe it.........within one day the odor was almost completely gone. I would not have believed it if I had not tried it myself. I usually do not endorse any products.......but this deodorizer really worked great for me. I will use it also in my fridge.

One of my tenants recently vacated a unit in my apartment building. I know for a fact that the electricity was shut off in his unit for an unknown period of time, and the smell coming from his (thankfully now empty) fridge was atrocious. I was afraid I would have to replace the fridge. First I scrubbed with bleach, and that wasn't good enough, so I put "home remedies" in the fridge for a few weeks. These odor-removing home remedies included coffee grounds, some cotton balls soaked in vanilla extract, and baking soda. I had piles of these sitting open on plates. After a week and a half or so, the fridge smelled more tolerable (from the coffee & vanilla) but you could tell it was just masking the odor, since it smelled like coffee vanilla with an underlying nasty smell. Finally, I threw all those items out of the fridge, turned the fridge on, and let it run for a few days with just baking soda loose on plates and I placed this deodorizer in the fridge. After a day or two the fridge was smelling better, and the smell was gone by the end of the week! I highly recommend this product!

I must say that I was surprised that it worked. I lived in an apartment where someone smokes below my me and it would come up in my vent. Once I placed this inside the venting area the smell was gone. Great purchase! Great product!

My husband and I recently sold our rental house...needless to say, the last tenant left things less than perfect...For whatever reason, the tenant left meat in the freezer but had unplugged it. Been having a bad smell from my fridge, spent hours cleaning, even went as far as removing all items, and the odor remained. Tried everything scrubbed down with vinegar placed several different odor eaters in the fridge and the smell remained. Placed one of this deodorizer in the fridge three days ago, checked the fridge today, no smell. So I can say without a doubt that this deodorizer is a super odor eater. Well worth the price and very simple to use, you can't go wrong with this product.

I have been using the cheap box of baking soda for years, just throwing it out every month or sometimes two. But this deodorizer works so much better than baking soda. I don't need to hang it so it catches my eye everytime I open the fridge, it looks so neat, so I just lay it in the back. Of course having a clean fridge is a key before using this, but after that, no smell of onion or garlic, just nothing. So worth the extra money.

Works like a charm. For many months, the ice in my freezer has tasted salty and had a noticeable odor. No amount of cleaning or baking soda could fix the problem. I've been using these deodorizers for a month now and I've found that they really do work. They even absorb ripe crab or fish odor. I always keep them in the fridge now - one in the freezer and one in the cooler. I like the fact that it absorbs the odor instead of masking it with fragrance. Nice to get a product that works as advertised.

I got one of these for my fridge because every now and then it just gets a weird smell and I can't figure out what it is, and baking soda never did the trick. I had an odor in my fridge sort of like sour milk. I cleaned it over and over pitched most of the contents perfectly good food. Still could not find the source, tried baking soda, newspapers in the freezer and it is squeaky clean still this annoying odor not overpowering but still there. I got this deodorizer put one in freezer one in fridge for 8 hours the odor is gone. It truly works! This product is highly recommended

I forgot raw chicken in my trunk for about 4 days and needless to say my car smelled like death. I cleaned my trunk thoroughly and tried different things like fantastic, 409, vinegar, fabreeze and the smell lifted slightly but was still pretty bad. I found this deodorizer and within three days of being in my trunk the smell was barely noticeable. Within 1 week, it was gone completely! I would recommend to anyone!
